PUBLIC HEARING & REGULAR BOE MEETING...AGENDAS |
The Cairo Board of Education held its Regular Meeting on Thursday, September 19, at 6 p.m.
Immediately preceding this meeting, the BOE conducted a Public Hearing on the CSD Budget (2019-2020).

CAT President's Report:
Answering Roll Call were: Coleman, Gooden, Harris, McAllister, Moore, and Stubblefield. Moore presided over the meeting in the absence of Nelson. (Nelson arrived at 6:30 p.m.)
Examples of Excellence were done by a student from Jr. High School, CES Pre-K, and CES Kindergarten. Some of the students were present.
Informational: Tim King spoke briefly about bonds.
Ryan Dodd spoke at length about roof repairs and what is needed.
The BOE voted to enter Closed Session at 7:32 p.m
The BOE voted to exit Closed Session at 8:40 p.m.
The BOE voted to approve all items under "7. Requiring Action/Decisions By Board of Education". NOTE: Item (4) was approved pending trade-in terms.
An additional Item (7) was approved: "Roof Replacement, Abatement, & Exterior Facade Project" pending Health Life Safety Bond. (You can read the details of the project by clicking here).
The BOE voted to adjourn at 8:42 p.m.
