SPECIAL BOE MEETING...AGENDA PLUS

The Cairo Board of Education held a Special Meeting on Monday, October 26th, at 6 p.m. for the purpose of discussing COVID-19 issues.

The notice and agenda are immediately below...

...followed by the CAT President's report:

CAT President's Report:

The meeting was conducted completely in open session. There was about an hour of discussion.

A motion was made and seconded for all students to go to full remote learning. The motion was voted down.

Superintendent Rice then made a motion to "stay the course" (continue the current hybrid model...some students attending "in-person instruction" four days a week, the remainder doing full remote instruction.) That motion was approved.

So...

...no changes were made at this time. In the future, should any students become ill (which none are known to have, so far), the situation will be revisited.

The BOE then voted to adjourn.
