CAT Tracks for July 15, 2020 OBITUARY: WILLIAM ROBERT "BOB" ARINGTON

Mr. Arington was a former employee of Cairo School District Number One, having taught at Cairo High School from 1965-1969.

Since I graduated from CHS in 1963, I never had him as a teacher. Then I missed being his colleague by three months when he left Cairo at the end of the 1968-1969 school year and I began my teaching career in 1969-1970. Two ships that pass in the night. However, I did have the pleasure of making his acquaintance when I was on a team that visited Vienna High School during the 1980s, witnessing firsthand his dedication to his students.

My condolences to Bob's family and may he rest in peace.
