Over the next 24+ hours, I am going to apply a generous dosage of "The Cure" in accordance with my earlier prescription that Laughter Is the Best Medicine. Over the past week, I have scoured the Internet looking for just the right ingredients and, if I say so myself, I think I have a winning formula.

I am aware that there are those who are offended at blue language and images they consider profane. In my midnight to quitting time (and beyond?) "live coverage" of Leotis D. Swopes' last day, I believe that I have kept within the bounds of decency, both in words and images. (The one exception to that will be clearly labeled and require the viewer to click on what I will term an "R-rated" link. If you venture forth, it will be on you.)

That said...

If you are the sensitive type and don't like being subjected to the risqué, then here is a CLEAR WARNING:

Do NOT open the e-mail or click the link that takes you to tonight's Special Presentation: "A Poetic Farewell". Since the "offensive material" is the punch line of the entire article, it is a waste of your time. (I started to put in a warning link like the one I will use tomorrow, but since I plan to use the same image in all its glory on the CAT Home Page on Friday, well, what's the point?

Accordingly, do NOT visit the CAT Home Page on Friday. (If you are on the CAT Tracks mailing list, you CAN open the link of any other articles I post that day, although I sincerely doubt there will be any. I am going to be waaaaaaaaaaaay too busy keeping up with Swopes to be wandering the alleyways looking for serious news articles. Or, you can simply wait until Saturday when I will replace the image with a "G-rated" image.)
